Public artwork 'Life' revealed 20.4.2012

Sampo Kaikkonen's large scale triptych "Life" was officially revealed on 20th April 2012 in Oulu, Finland. "Life" is one of the six commissioned artworks in the recently opened campus building of The Oulu Region Joint Authority for Education (OSEKK).

The leading theme for all the artworks was "Arch of Life".

Kaikkonen's oil painting with its gilded frame is monumental in size: 155 x 315 cm (61 x 124 in). It can be seen in the main stairway of the "Paasi" building during opening times.

Other commissioned artists were Helena Kaikkonen, Kari Södö, Moosa Myllykangas and Lauri Rankka.
